The Story of This Tea
This Wild Lapsang Souchong is not cultivated in a fixed tea garden but grows naturally on hillsides around Tongmuguan. The tea bushes are scattered across the mountain, hidden among wild vegetation. Each spring, tea pickers climb the hills several times to monitor growth, harvesting leaves that must often be searched for among the weeds.
Because of this natural environment, the tea reflects the ecology of the mountains in its character. Each cup is a direct connection to the wild, diverse, and untamed spirit of Tongmuguan.
