The Story of This Tea
Fozi Mountain lies within Zhenghe County, one of Fujian’s two core white tea regions alongside Fuding. The gardens here are known as huang shan (荒山), or wild mountain fields, where tea bushes grow naturally among native trees and wild plants. The tea is not cultivated in neat rows but scattered throughout the forest, thriving in the shade and mineral-rich soil of the mountain.
To harvest this tea, skilled pickers venture deep into the forest to locate the scattered Da Bai bushes. Because of the difficult terrain and selective picking of only the finest buds, a picker can gather just 2 to 2.5 kilograms of fresh leaves per day. After withering and drying, only about 0.5 kilograms of finished tea remains. The result is a tea of exceptional sweetness and purity that captures the vitality of its wild origin.

The liquor is golden and clear, with a smooth, velvety texture and a taste that feels both pure and substantial. The aroma carries notes of wildflowers and honey, reflecting its forest environment. The overall impression is one of strength balanced by clarity and calm sweetness.
