The Story of This Tea
This Old Bush Mi Lan Xiang is made from century-old tea trees in Lizi Ping Village, a core high-altitude area of Phoenix Mountain. The craft follows traditional Chaozhou techniques with precise oxidation control, producing brewed leaves that show about 30 percent red and 70 percent green. This ratio creates balance and depth in both flavour and fragrance.
The tea is remarkable for its lack of bitterness even after long steeping. Its full aroma, strength, and clarity reflect both the maturity of the trees and the skill of the tea maker. The characteristic cong wei or old-tree aroma fills the room with a warm woody fragrance, recalling the intensity of aged Puerh while keeping the elegant floral sweetness of Dan Cong.
Aroma and Flavour
This Mi Lan Xiang offers depth and endurance. The aroma combines honey, spice, and the resinous woodiness typical of old bushes. The flavour is bold but refined, unfolding in layers of sweetness and mountain freshness. Its texture is thick and smooth with no trace of bitterness. Each infusion grows rounder and sweeter, carrying the cool clarity of its mountain origin.
