The Story of This Tea

Mu Dan Wang is the highest grade of Bai Mu Dan, produced with a stricter picking standard that includes more tender buds and fewer mature leaves. This 2023 harvest comes from Jinping Village in Zhenghe County, one of the most renowned high-mountain white tea regions in Fujian Province. The tea gardens here are situated in clean, misty hills where mineral-rich soil and mild temperatures produce tea of remarkable fragrance and purity.

Made from the Da Bai Hao cultivar, this tea displays an abundance of fine white hairs (hao), giving it a distinct appearance and fragrance known as hao xiang (毫香). When brewed in a glass, the silvery down is clearly visible, reflecting its premium grade. The result is a tea that bridges the freshness of Baihao Yinzhen and the floral body of Bai Mudan, offering both delicacy and depth in every cup.

Aroma and Flavour

The liquor is bright and clear, releasing a refined floral aroma with subtle sweetness. The taste is delicate and full, with a rock-sugar-like sweetness and no bitterness or green harshness. The Da Bai Hao character gives the tea a silky body and lingering fragrance that fills the cup and air alike.
