The Story of This Tea
This Mi Taoxiang comes from an old-tree mountain garden in Shi Gu Ping, deep in the core high-altitude tea zone of the Phoenix Mountains. At 1100 metres, the garden sits above the clouds for much of the year. The soil here is volcanic ash, naturally rich in minerals and nutrients, which gives the tea both structure and depth.
The leaves are carefully processed using traditional charcoal roasting. The roast is applied in three stages, allowing the tea to settle slowly and evenly. This method preserves the natural floral and honeyed character of the leaf while encouraging the rare peach aroma that defines Mi Taoxiang. The dry leaves are tightly rolled, glossy and dark, releasing a sweet peach note layered with gentle charcoal warmth as soon as the package is opened.
Aroma and Flavour
This tea opens with floral and honeyed notes, quickly developing into a clear and expressive peach aroma. As the session progresses, the roast reveals a deeper warmth without heaviness, allowing the fruit character to remain vivid and clean. It is both fragrant and grounding, with excellent endurance across multiple infusions.
