Lao Cong Shui Xian 2011 老枞水仙
Location: Da Shui Keng (大水坑)
Harvest date: 2011 .Spring
Roasting level: Medium Roasted
Feature:
This tea was stockpiled by my husband, Zhou Shiwu, when he first came to Wuyi Mountain to learn about processing tea . It's been stored in Chaozhou ever since. It comes from Shui xian that's over 80 years old. It hasn't been unpacked or re-roasted since it was brought back to Chaozhou in 2011. It's been naturally aged for 14 years now. It's incredibly clean, without any off-flavors. The tea isn't overly rich, but rather delicate and silky. It's a perfectly balanced cup of aroma and flavor.
This clean and mature naturally aged tea is rare. If you're interested in exploring naturally aged teas, you should definitely try this Lao cong shuixian or perhaps my 2015 Shui Xian .Both are excellent
