Jiang Hua Xiang, meaning “Ginger Flower Fragrance,” is one of the most distinctive and elegant Phoenix Dancong cultivars. It is celebrated for its clean, clear floral character, with an aroma reminiscent of fresh ginger blossoms layered with natural sweetness.

This 2025 harvest comes from Daping Village, high in Phoenix Mountain, where the altitude of 1000 meters and mineral-rich soils create ideal conditions for Dan Cong. The medium roast, achieved through two careful firings, enhances the cultivar’s sweetness while preserving its signature floral fragrance.

Brewing Guidelines

Gong Fu Style

• Teaware: Chaozhou red clay pot (朱泥壶) or porcelain gaiwan

• Ratio: 7–8g per 100ml water

• Water: 95–100°C spring water

• Infusions: Rinse once, then brew 8–10 infusions, extending steeping time gradually

Western Style

• Teaware: Porcelain or glass teapot

• Ratio: 3–4g per 250ml water

• Water: 95°C

• Steeping: 2–3 minutes for the first infusion, resteep 2–3 times
