About This Tea

This centuries-old Lapsang Souchong is made from wild Wuyi Cai Cha tea bushes growing in the Wuyishan National Nature Reserve at altitudes between 1200 and 1400 meters. These ancient tea trees are over 100 years old, with roots and stems covered in green moss that reflect their long history.

Although the trees are tall and lush, their yield is very low and they require an exceptionally pure and stable environment to thrive. The tea is harvested from old wild bushes on untouched high mountain slopes inside the nature reserve, making it rare and highly prized.

Appearance & Liquor

The dry leaves are large and shaped like the strips of Wuyi Yancha. When brewed, the liquor is golden and bright.

Taste & Aroma Profile

  • Aroma: A layered combination of fruit, honey, flowers, and sweet potato with a refreshing mountain fragrance

  • Flavor: Fresh and sweet with a smooth mouthfeel and long-lasting aftertaste

  • Mouthfeel: Sweetness lingers in the throat with a clean, refreshing sensation reminiscent of a pristine forest

  • Steeping Endurance: Retains full flavor after 8 infusions and can brew more than 10 times

The tea’s fragrance and taste create the feeling of standing in an untouched high mountain forest, with a calm and cooling energy that refreshes both body and mind.

Brewing Method

Use freshly boiled water to brew directly. This high mountain Lapsang Souchong grows slowly due to its altitude, which makes it resistant to high temperatures and long brewing. It can be infused more than 10 times while maintaining stable quality and aroma.

  • Protected environment: Grown in the Wuyishan National Nature Reserve
